How to use the games

• Learning: every game starts with a mode where the child sees hints or a step-by-step method. Mapík shows a labelled map, Dělíček guides the calculation on a blackboard and checks every number straight away.
• Contest: 10 questions, against the clock, or a sprint (“how many can you do”). At the end there is a result, a list of mistakes with explanations and a record.
• Difficulty follows the Czech curriculum for grades 3–6. In Dělíček it is long division by one- and two-digit numbers, with and without a remainder, as taught in Czech grade 5. Czech division is written with a colon (72 : 3 = 24) and the calculation is laid out below the line.
• Sounds are switched on and off with the speaker icon at the top right of every game.

Privacy

The website uses no cookies, ads or tracking scripts and sends nothing anywhere. Settings and game records are stored only in this device’s browser (localStorage). You can delete them by clearing the site data in your browser.

Visits are measured by Cloudflare Web Analytics: no cookies and no personal data, only the total number of page views and loading speed. Individual people are not tracked.

Build your own educational website

The whole site is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no database. All you need is:

1. Write a game as a single HTML page (open it straight in a browser to try it).
2. A domain and web hosting. This site runs on Windows hosting, but any host can serve static pages.
3. Upload the files over FTP, or connect a GitHub repository so the site deploys itself after every change.
4. Turn on HTTPS (a Let's Encrypt certificate is usually free with hosting).
